What are the Different Types of Manicure?

Women love taking care of their nails. Pretty nails always make a hand look more beautiful. Nowadays, manicure is the key to pretty nails. Manicure is a beauty treatment performed on the hands and the nails in the nail salon. This process includes filling and shaping the edges of the nails, clipping of any non-living tissue but only applicable for the cuticle and hangnails, pushing the non-living tissue with the help of cuticle pusher or cuticle nippers, treating with different liquids, massage of the hand and then application of nail polish on the fingers. Most of the nail polish can survive for 2-3days before another manicure treatment. Some people even love painting pictures and designs on the nails, or applying small decals or imitation jewels. There are other treatments of manicure as well, which includes application of artificial nail gels, acrylics also called as French manicures. The manicure is performed on a table called as nail table.

Types of Manicure

  • French manicures- nails who have undergone French manicures are characterized by lack of artificial base colour and presence of white tips. These nails have their nail tips painted white, while rest of the nails are painted in a pink or a matching nude shade.
  • Hot oil manicures- it is a treatment which involves the cleaning of the cuticle and then treating with oil. The types of oil used are olive oil, mineral oil, some lotions etc.
  • Dip powder manicures- these are an alternative to the traditional acrylic nails and gel polish. This is a popular method because of its easy application. Multiple alternating layers of the powder and cyanoacrylate can be used in this method.

Conclusion

Take care of the sanitation properly because sometimes due to improper sanitation skin infection can occur and spread to other parts.
